JoJo is looking for
a single, retired female in a quiet home, as her furever companion. She is shy
at first, and is very loving and cuddly once she accepts you as hers.
JoJo can be fearful of some
men. We don’t know
her history, however a female based home is best for her needs.
JoJo gets nervous
and scared around big dogs and active environments. She has been exposed to older, dog savvy kids
while in our care and was ok. Younger, rambunctious children make her unsure
and nervous.
JoJo is crate
trained, however is quite fine in the home out of one.
She enjoys slower, quiet walks and is good on leash. Resting, sleeping
and cuddling with her person until it’s time for a walk, is her idea of a
perfect day.She would be a good fit in
an apartment or condo lifetime.

Are you ready to play? Aqua is always ready to play. She plays with people, her doggy friends and her toys or she can entertain herself, but most of all, she enjoys playing with her little fostered brother.
Aqua is a very independent lady. She enjoys belly rubs, likes to be near her person and stroked but also happy to hang out and watch what is going on around her. She is a VERY intelligent dog and enjoys her training sessions with her foster mom. Aqua loves going on walks, but gets overly exuberant when she sees other dogs and has a hard time containing herself. She gets frustrated that she can’t go play while on leash. She whines, riles herself up, and then barks and lunges herself forward. This behavior is often misunderstood, but she just wants to play. With continued training, she is responding to redirection and improving well. Aqua is very accustomed to living on a schedule with boundaries and thrives with structure.
Aqua will thrive in a home with another dog and with patient owners. They will need to be confident handlers and be able to continue guiding her to achieve her greatest potential. She will need to go to a home with a completely fenced yard so that she can run around safely and freely without a leash; she loves to do zoomies.
Aqua is super sweet, affectionate and most of all, deserving of a second chance at a wonderful life. Will you be the one to open your doors and welcome her into a loving furever home?

Torvi is a high energy puppy that would thrive in an active home that is able to fulfil her need to be both physically and mentally challenged. She is a very affectionate pup and will snuggle up on the couch for an afternoon of Netflix once her needs are met.
Torvi can be fearful in new situations and around unfamiliar dogs and expresses her uncertainty by barking and lunging. The good news is, she is enrolled in a class specifically for reactive dogs that will help her learn to better cope with those big emotions. The ideal family for Torvi will be patient and willing to repeat the reactivity course with her which will be included in the adoption fee.
Torvi is successfully cohabitating with 4 other dogs and a few cats, but slow introductions will best set her up for success.
Torvi is looking for a best friend, someone she can trust that will work with her to build up her confidence.
Her foster home works on training everyday - she knows sit, bed, touch, paw and is learning down and spin. She's fully house trained as long as she is let out regularly and will even sit and bark at the door if she needs to go out. She is crate trained but prefers to be left out to sleep.
This little girl is a bit mouthy when excited so a home that has the patience to redirect this behaviour to a more appropriate outlet would be ideal.
She'd make a great adventure buddy for any outdoor enthusiasts. She is full of personality and so sweet.

Meet Sam! He’s a very sweet and mellow boy. Sam is a cuddly pup who adores ear scritches and napping. He is very low energy and spends a good chunk of his day snoozing away. Sam loves meeting new people and will press up against them, hoping for some pets and scratches. He is working on learning how to politely greet other pups on the street. Sam shows interest in other dogs but is sometimes frustrated by his leash which results in barking or growling when he sees them.
Sam is partially paralyzed after being hit by a car and uses a wheelchair to get around outside, but is able to move around freely in the home without it. Although caring for Sam may look different from the average dog, he is actually a very easy pup to care for once you are used to his routine. Sam has partial control of his bladder and bowels but he does need his bladder expressed 2-3 times per day (just like any other dog!) to ensure it fully empties and wears a male wrap overnight to prevent indoor accidents. Sam does well with leash walking and LOVES going for long walks. He has no issue going up curbs or hills. Sam does well in his crate but will whine occasionally before settling. He prefers to be left outside his crate when his people have to go out. He is okay being left alone for up to 8 hours on occasion, but would prefer a family who isn’t away from the home for longer than 4-6 hours on a regular day.
The ideal home for Sam would be with a patient, loving family committed to supporting him with his limited mobility. He can not walk up stairs so his ideal home would be with limited stairs or with a family who would be willing to carry him up stairs when needed (he can also do this on his own if someone supports his back end). Sam would prefer a dog free home where he can be the centre of attention, but could do well with a neutral dog and a family who is able to set boundaries with Sam so he learns he doesn’t need to be protective of his space. A home without cats is best. Sam does like meeting kids on his walks and would do well in a home with dog-savvy children who will be gentle with him.

Dolly is a spayed female around 1.5 years old. We don’t know her breed mix. She weighs around 65 lbs.
😊🐶 Takes time to get to know dogs, then is ok
😊🐯 Not good with cats
😊🚸 Good with kids - she may jump up
😊🏡 House and crate trained
Dolly is an absolute sweetheart with people. Always looking for snuggles and loves to give kisses. She thinks she is a big cuddly lap dog. Dolly loves to go for walks and does great on her leash - unless she sees another dog or squirrels. She barks, pulls and wants to chase. She is great in her crate. Doesn’t always want to go in but once she is in she settles down quickly. She sleeps in her crate for 8-10 hours. Dolly does not do well with cats. She wants to chase them all the time. She needs time to get to know other dogs and to realize she is not the boss.
She does want to play with other dogs but is learning how to do it nicely. Every day she gets better. Dolly definitely needs a fenced yard. She likes to chase squirrels. She has not been exposed to kids since she has been in our care. She loves to watch them play at school. We suspect she will be wonderful with kids, and did well at our recent meet and greets. She doesn't always understand her size and might knock over. Dolly is a real doll! She is very affectionate, loving and kind. So very tender and sweet! She absolutely loves being a part of a family, and can’t wait to meet hers!

Hi friends, my name is Peppermint Patty, but I wasn't answering that very well, so my foster started calling me Coco and I like it better. I am a 1 year old, 30 lb. female Shepherd/Malinois Mix.
I am a sweet girl from Louisiana looking for a second chance at life. I dream of a dog. Seriously, I am. I am good with dogs of all kinds and kids of all ages.
I am a young dog, and could potentially grow a bit more so I would prefer to be in a home with children 5 and up, so I don’t accidentally run them over.
My ideal home would be with an active family, who have at least 1 playful dog or kids who would keep me busy. I am active, but don’t need a whole lot of exercise. A good, long walk or run (an hour at least) around the neighbourhood in the morning is enough for me. Then I will relax during the day with my favourite toys and follow you around wherever you go.
I walk very nicely on the leash and am crate trained at night. A backyard would be nice, as I love to sniff around and play around with my toys, but is not a must, as long as my family understands that I will need regular good exercise.
No one is perfect, and neither am I. I do have some fears when it comes to loud, sudden noises in the home so an experienced large breed owner is preferred.
If you are looking for a large breed dog with an even bigger heart, apply. I would love to meet you!

✅ The wonderful thing about Tigger is that Tigger is a wonderful thing!
Tigger is a neutered male around 2 years old. We don’t know his breed/mix. Tigger is super playful and bouncy, just like the real Tigger! He weighs around 53lbs.
😊🐶good with dogs, best with slow introductions
🙃🐯has not met cats
😊🚸good with kids! older kids may be best as he’s so darn bouncy
😊🏠House and crate trained
👍🏼high energy and very active
👍🏼 $800 adoption fee
👍🏼fenced in yard recommended
🐶 If you’re looking for an energetic, playful and loving dog, then Tigger is your guy!
Tigger loves meeting and greeting new people, especially when he can get some extra cuddles.
Tigger absolutely loves any type of ball or squeaky toy, but hard balls and chew toys are best since he loves to chew his toys. A favourite pastime of his is chewing on frozen Kongs that have kibble hidden inside.
Tigger loves being outside. His #1 favorite thing in the world is to play fetch. Over and over. Tigger would love to have a large open space to run and play. But sometimes he also just likes to sit on the deck and overlook the yard. Other times he’ll pace the fences and explore all of the sights and smells.
When Tigger first met his foster sister dog he didn’t interact much with her and needed some time to get to know and trust her, but now they are great friends and love to play chase and even wrestle.
Tigger is crate-trained but will sometimes whine as he much prefers to be out of his crate and around people just to be sure he’s not missing out on anything.
Tigger gets his meals in his crate and loves food and treats. He sleeps in his crate, covered up with a blanket and sleeps through the night consistently.
Tigger is still working on his leash training and uses a gentle leader to help guide him. Tigger is sometimes very excited to meet other dogs and will pull to get close to them so he needs a firm hand on the leash to control him.
Tigger knows how to sit and has also just learned how to shake a paw!
Tigger is a playful, loving pup who is seeking a forever family to continue with his training and provide him with lots of cuddles.
If you would like to adopt Tigger to your family, please apply today.

Koa is fully house trained, great in her crate when you have to go out during the day. She is good in her crate at night or she is good out at night as she will probably try sleeping with you on the bed. Gets along beautifully with all dogs. All ages and all sizes. She has been around dogs/puppies from ages 4 months to 7 years old. As small as 8lbs and as big as 100lbs. Once she is comfortable, she is really laid back. It takes her a bit of time to get used to new people. As long as you greet her slowly, she is great. Good with kids who are dog savvy. Quick or sudden movements towards her upon first meeting will make her uncomfortable, and will shy away. She needs to be allowed to come to the new person, to sniff the person before they pet her. Once she knows they are safe, she is a dog full of love to share! She is good with cats, she will chase rabbits if given the opportunity. Koa loves to go for walks. She pulls a little on leash but with a little direction she is a lovely walking partner. If you would like to add Koa to your family,

✅ $800 adoption fee ✅ links to application fee and answers to our FAQs below 🔈 Serious applications only 🔈 A $50 deposit is required to proceed with a home visit. Otherwise the $50 deposit is non-refundable. Please do not apply if you are not ready to commit to this dog. Thank you for your cooperation and support 🐶
🐶Suika is a tender heart. She is so kind, loving and wonderful. When she knows she is safe and in loving hands, she shares her lovely heart with her people. Once she knows she is safe, she won’t go anywhere she can’t see you, and you will get the most amazing welcome home. It’s like she hasn’t seen you in years 😃🥰🐶 Suika is timid and unsure of new environments and new people. She needs time to feel safe and secure in new settings, and to learn that there are good humans out there who don’t want to hurt her. When she meets new male humans, she will shake, pant, bark, and try to hide. Time, patience and understanding is helping her develop confidence and trust in humans. Suika is good with other dogs to walk with and visit. She gets jealous with other dogs in the home and wants all of the attention. Can’t blame her at all for that - she has never known what love is before her foster family showed her what love is. Daily walks help her develop confidence and a feeling of security in her environment. Chew toys are nice for her to have access to. She does not enjoy water. Suika is crate trained however she uses a crate to hide in. Her foster currently keeps her out of a crate which has helped her develop confidence in her surroundings. She is such a gem! And has so much love to give. When she knows you have her back, she will show you her heart and it will blow you away with its warmth! ❤️🐶
