Pawty Animals Celebrates Major Milestones: Awards and Recognition

At Pawty Animals, we are proud to announce some exciting milestones that highlight our commitment to sustainability, innovation, and supporting the Simcoe community.

We were recently honored to win the Barrie Chamber of Commerce Sustainability Award. This recognition underscores our dedication to creating eco-friendly dog toys and promoting sustainable practices within the pet industry. As a female-owned business, we are passionate about leading the way for a greener, more responsible future for pet care.

We’re also thrilled to be a finalist in the Visionary Category of the Women in Business Award 2025. This nomination celebrates the hard work, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit that drives our mission at Pawty Animals. Our founder, Kara Wardinger, has been recognized for her innovative approach to combining sustainability with the pet industry, and we couldn’t be more excited to be part of this amazing group of women in business.

In addition, we were nominated for the prestigious Pivot Mayor's Award, which acknowledges businesses that contribute to the Simcoe region’s growth and innovation. This nomination reinforces our role in driving positive change and supporting the local community.

Pawty Animals has also been featured in CTV News and Barrie Today for our achievements and our efforts to promote sustainability within the pet industry. Check out the articles and videos showcasing our journey:

We are so grateful for the recognition and for the support of the Simcoe community. These achievements inspire us to continue working towards a sustainable future, creating quality products, and supporting animal welfare initiatives. Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey so far!
